Sharpening settings

Does anyone have problems changing the default sharpening amount?

I change the amount of default sharpening I want, save it as a default and it looks like
it's saved, but if I change the default sharpening in a photo then decide I don't like it and click on restore default it returns not to my saved sharpening but to the C1 default.

This does not seem right to me?

I have noticed problems with other settings sliders as well, for example, if I click on the EV settings slider with the mouse and scroll up or down it changes the amount of EV applied + or -, BUT it (often) moves other sliders ie: contrast values with it?

  I have the same question on the sharpening settings. How do I change the default have it remain the default?
