Problem with thumbnails and preview

I'm trying out 5.1.2 right now. Problem I can't figure out. When I import color photos, the thumbnails are initially in color, but within moments they all convert to B&W. After I output them and import into Lightroom, they are all color again. Can't find the way to prevent this.

  Chuck,
  Sounds like you have a Black and White ICC profile being applied. If you look at the images in Photoshop and they're color, the difference may then just be between embedded and working color space in Photoshop.
