Need Help getting Canon G10 to communicate with C1pro
I purchased a Canon G10 to use with Capture One Pro and am having issues with getting it to communicate with the software. Unlike the other camera's I connect (30d, 5d, 5d Mark II), that are recognized by C1 when connected to the computer, the G10 goes into a mode where the lens retracts, I am unable to operate any menu functions and C1 will not recognize it.
I called Canon Support and was told they could not help me because I was using third party software. I am convinced it is a simple setting that needs to be changed in the camera - but am drawing a blank. Anyone help would be greatly appreciated!

The G10 is not supported tethered, that is why it will not connect to Capture One Pro.0 -
Well, that would explain it then!
