C1 6.0 Pro 64-bit - Slower than the C1 5.0 Pro?
I started using the Capture One 6.0 Pro 64-bit on a Vista x64 machine with 2.83 Intel Q9550S quad core CPU and 8GB memory. The disks are 7200rpm SATA drives with plenty of space and defragmented nightly by Diskeeper Pro (not the built-in version). The C1 6.0 Pro 64-bit appears both lagging and sluggish at times.
The current session consists of a bit over 300 5D2 CR2 files. When making adjustments, the changes are delayed sometimes for as much as 5 to 15 seconds. When selecting multiple images to copy and apply adjustments, the selected images appear, disappear and re-appear. The C1 5.0 does not seem to have these two problems.
Has anyone looked at these performance issues?
Will upgrading to an Intel I7 and/or getting an Open CL supported video card help?
Was C1 6.0 optimized only for the Open CL drivers?
