Can't seem to start...c1_4

Hi there
I am using a G5 ppc tower and i have down laoded c1v4 to give it a drive and i can not get it to boot properly. I get the spinning beach ball of death. I see capture one in the menu bar but nothing happens.

In investigating this on the forum I get the distinct feeling to wait, or even get to know Lightroom better...or be happy with 3.7.6 which blazes on my Macbook Pro.

So is v4 worth trying, is there a way? i figured it was for Intel processors and just didn't like the PPC Dual hampster wheels...

  CO4 runs smoothly on my dual G5 powermac and it does this in general with ppc machines.
  
  I suggest you remove Capture One (4) from the Applications folder and the Capture One Library folder from your home folder (if it exists; it is created during first start).
  Next, download CO4 again, install and startup.

  Thanks paul for the tip. confirms my thoughts but self doubt creeps in the cracks. I will try this!
