Deactivation: How does it work?

My wife got a new computer. So, I deactivated her existing C1PRO installations in order to migrate her copies to their correct systems

The thing is, there are no signs C1Pro deactivated. They start fine. They process fine. And the activation window says they are active.

When will they become inactive (unactive? "Deactivated" seems like it has too many syllables)? I would hate for that to happen on a shoot. Is there a way for me to force them to reactivate?
