Program error on saving jpg files in PS.CS2

Hi, I cant save files processed in CO (jpg max) from my H5 in PS. CS2. I´can save them but I have to choose \"save as\" and then change file the file format to something else or the file name and the file format. I always can in PS.CS. What´s wrong?

Another question. What is the use of the Preview engine? should I install it only on the server alone or do I have to install it on all the computers that connects to the server (7 computers).

  CS2 will return a program error each time I try to save a modified .jpg quickproof exported with C1 pro. Help would be most appreciated, as this forces me to edit quickproofs with an older version of Photoshop.
