C1 v3.7.4 and 20D Tethered No Workie

Hi,
I am evaluating CaptureOnePro 3.7.4 with a 20D tethered. CaptureOne gets hungup on accessing the camera. Won't connect.
The Computer: Mac Powerbook G4 1GHz
The OS: 10.4.7

I have tried changing the USB IO Kext file but unable to revert to v4.0
Not really sure what else to try.
Please help!

  This is an Apple and Canon issue.
  The updates to OS Tiger disabled the USB drivers.
  If Apple and Canon cannot communicate, then PRO certainly cannot.
  If using an Intel Mac, upgrade to 10.4.7, if you have a PowerPC use OS 10.4.6
  Some have reverted to older version of OS that worked, 10.4.4
