    Hi,

Welcome to the forum. The problem can be the process recipe (discard the old, create a new one), the image preview (.cof/.cop) proxy files (discard the proxies folder and it will be regenerated). Alternatively you could suspect the session file or the user preference file.

It is not complicated to refresh any of these, please let us know you need any further assistance. Please mention your version of CO (4 or 5) and regular or Pro, the settings in your recipe including color space, if you reply.

Crash reports do not generated or result in a direct answer to you, in contrast to a support case you can open.

    Ulirch,

In the Pro version you can create and remove process recipes from the Output tools tab. The user preferences are stored in C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Phase One\CaptureOne.exe <ID>\<version>\user.config file. You need to enable view hidden files and folder to see AppData folder. Remove it when CO5 is closed, and CO5 will create a new one on opening.

If this does not help, I should look into your Win7 color management and examine the monitor profile (change to default for a test).

    Hi,

i tried all of this, but as soon as i change the color profile in the output tab CO "freezes". After 20 seconds or so the crash report shows up. Just before this happens the display shows the selected profile (tried Adobe rgb and ProPhoto RGB). During the "freeze" time CPU is constantly at 13% for this process.

I wasn't able though to delete all recipes, as it seems the last one remaining cannot be deleted.

Also changed the windows color management to "default".

Since the windows 7 update I also notice a very long startup of CO. (about 30 to 40 seconds), which I did not recognize on Vista. Always thought that this was related to disk startup as WIndows 7 shuts down unused disks after a certain time. During the test described here they were up and running. Don't know if this relates to the problem.

    Thx, Ullrich
