Why no tethered support?

is there ever going to be tethered support for phase backs to PCs with more than 4gb of ram.... or do i need to downgrade my setup.

    You refer to a Windows 64-bits issue with the firewire driver. Unfortunately, it is a Microsoft driver that is the culprit. So either Microsoft comes with a better generic firewire driver, or Phase One with a replacement. Hopefully Microsoft catches up soon.
