Tether issue with software version 3.7 and 5.1 using canon

I use the canon Mark 2 and Mark 3 and continuously have issues with it freezing up while tethered. Our cameras have the latest version of firmware and we have leopard on our Mac towers. It seems like this is a common problem. I did use a brand new IMac with all the latest updates while using a 5D with 5.1 and it only crashed 4 times throughout the whole day. I feel like I've tried everything under the sun and the problem still persist. Do you have any recommendation to prevent this to happen any further? Any suggestions would be helpful.

  Odds are Support will have a few more options to test... I think Contacting Support directly and providing these details is the best course of action for you at present.
