exposure compensation vs. Levels
Hello,
the exposure compensation feature seam to have a different effect on the picture as a correction with the \"level\" tool.
Could somebody tell me, how to combinate these tools?
Until now, i just played around with both tools until i get a good effect. But this take a lot of time.
Does somebody habe a more systematic workflow?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Kai,
The Exposure compensation is a simple tool that allow simple lightening or darkening of the image.
The levels tool is more advanced. It the far right slider allows you to set a new whitepoint, the left slider a new black point , and the center slider remap the midtone values.
Experiment with the levels tool fearlessly knowing that you will never change the raw file and that you can keep going back to the same file to process it again and again.
have fun--
