Exporting to DNG - settings of C1 4 get lost
Hello all,
on our first test we were quite happy to see DNG export now. But unfortunately
settings in C1 4 as white balance or exposure are not handed over to the DNG.
Did I miss some settings ? Is it a bug ?

Hi Stefan,
I noticed this behavior of not saving any correction to DNG export by CO4 in the betas already, in contrast to ACR4.x for example. Whether it is a bug (or a feature 😊 ) depends on what you want or expect.
Phase One could have designed it that way on purpose: deliver a plain DNG file, untouched like CO always lets raw files untouched. I suggest you raise a support case as feature request for saving settings as an option (nifty CO4 Pro option...)0 -
Hi Paul,
thanks for yor answer. For me it's definitely no feature. It means we can go
straightly to Lightroom. Why spending time in C1 when you have to do it again
in Photoshop ? I cant imagine that's PhaseOne's idea if they consider it as a
feature.
I have to admit that I am quite frustated of PhaseOne's delay in V4 and V4 Pro.
Our Canon Workflow has completely changed to Lightroom for many many
advantage in handling as undo history, correction of chromatic aberations etc.
Happy New Year (and hurry up PhaseOne, please) !0
