Using GPX file to geotag images

I understand that LR provides a utility that allows you to take a GPX file (from, for example, your phone) and geotag all images that have the same date/time stamp as the GPX file. That way, you can add GPS coordinates to batches of images, even well after the photo event.

Does C1 have this capability? I searched the on line manual but didn't find hardly anything about adding GPS coordinates...

    No. You can only read the GPS coords from the metadata tab.

    You can use the external app PhotoLinker (App store) for GPS stuff.

    It works well.

    Alternatively use Houdahgeo which works very well as well.
