Metadata removal when Processing
Hi,
I am considering various RAW converters, inclusive the new C1.
I have searched a lot on various forums but can't find an answer to my question.
Having used "only" PS for many years (Elements/CS3), I am now testing the Beta 3 version of LR. In LR I have the opportunity to save various PRESETS (like recipes in C1 I believe) to use when exporting to i.e. JPGs.
I use a lot of small JPGs for web use, 800x600px or similar and often with a watermark.
In these files i do not want ANY metadata/EXIF to exist. (Typically like "Save for web" i PS.)
While PS is a bit slow with large volumes in this regard, this is very easy done in LR.
Now, how about C1? I am currently trying out the 30-day versions. I do like many of the solutions in this program, but the above mentioned step is important to me - I cannot seem to find a way to completely remove the meta/EXIF data in C1.
I hope I am missing something, or is this simply not possible in C1?
Thanks for info,
Best

You for sure want to put Capture One 5.1 Pro to the test (released today). Go to the Process Recipe on the Output tool tab, click Advanced and deselect metadata option 'Include Camera Data' deselect all metadata options. These options are new in 5.1 and Pro or DB only (not regular version).
If you are running an earlier version of CO 5.x, I recommend to uninstall it first before you install CO 5.1 (general preferred procedure; nothing in particular to 5.1).0 -
Hi,
Thanks a lot - I will surely experiment with the new version ❗️
