Capture 4.83 keeps crashing after Windows 7 upgrade
I recently upgraded my computer to Windows 7. As part of the upgrade, I had to reinstall a bunch of programs, including Capture One. (I am using 4.83
Initially, everything ran smoothly, But in the past couple of days, C1 has become very unstable.
When processing images (both from a Leica M8 and Nikon D300), the program can only make it through 50-100 images before it crashes.
When I minimize the program, I can't get it to come back up.
Even if I leave it open, doing nothing, it eventually crashes.

From your description I am not sure whether you installed Windows 7 from scratch up that you updated from an previous Windows version and which version that was. I would definitely prefer a fresh install from scratch.
There is a Windows 7 update that is not automatically installed since it is an optional update. Start Windows Update, Check for Updates..., look in the Optional tab for fix # 974332 (Application Compatibility Update) and install the update.
You might want to remove CO 4.8.3 (see http://xchange.phaseone.com/home/Conten ... nguageid=1) and install it again.
For best Windows 7 compatibility I prefer (advise) CO 5.x. CO 4.8.3 runs on Win7 as well, but is not supported.0
