400D - Tethered - How?

I have C1 Pro 3.7.6

I also have a 400D

I'm totally new to the software and don't understand how to connect the camera?
The software says via Firewire, but the Canon 400D has no Firewire port.

I know that i'm probably being totally stupid.
But can someone help me out please. 🤭

  I Believe 400 tethers USB, your manual will inform.
  
  However, Current Version now is PRO 3.7.7 and in the Release Notes it states:
  Known Issues:
  Tethered capture iwth the Canon EOS 30D and 400D is not supported.
  
  With the Canon program establishing camera connection to computer,
  you can tether indirectly into Capture One.
