Library - trash - delete
If I'm looking photos in Library in CO 4.5, I can press Delete (on keyboard) and file goes ... to trash (is deleted). So I can quick go over the photos and delete non-keepers.
In 4.6 there is something very annoying - if I press Delete (on keyboard), CO 4.6 asks me "This will trash the selected items". What is wrong - why must I press OK - this means for every deletion, I must press two keys 👿

In CO 4.6 you can suppress this confirmation message by enabling the 'Edit Primary Variant Only' option. 0 -

More details might help to help, unless you are only want to complain.0 -
On my Windows XP machine, I followed the advice and chose 'Edit Primary Only,' but the warning "this will trash the selected item" still appears. The old system of hitting the Insert button to develop and Delete button to delete (without warning) was a dream to use.
And on my Macbook (using Parallels Desktop), by choosing 'Edit Primary Only' it does delete the photo without warning, and moves automatically to the next photo. But, the thumbnail selection remains on the deleted photo, so when you delete the following photo, it still remains on the previously deleted photo thumbnail and states "The selected image is either in an unsupported format or corrupted." At that point, you need to use the arrow keys to move forward......which slows the workflow (3 fingers on a macbook).
The solution would be to provide a 'do not show again' option on the warning, and automatically move to the next photo.0 -

Kevin, please check your version of CO4.x on both machines. Phase One has been working on this recently, and you might have running different releases resulting in different behavior which obviously is confusing. Can you update to CO 4.8 (if you have not done so already) on both and repeat the test?0
