Adapt Metadata in Viewer?

I am testing Capture One 10 now for 3 days and I am quite impressed compared to Lightroom.

Up to now I was not able to find an option to show more/different info in the viewer.
Usually there is only ISO/speed/aperture and mm.

But I also would like to see permanently the camera and the lens without pressing the info button and scroll trough all the metadata there.

Is there a way?

  This is not a requirement I have ever felt a regular need for since in general I can identify the camera from the file naming or from the type of image. Additionally I tend to use session and save the images form different cameras in their own folders so I suppose seeing the camera and lens all the time is of little interest to me personally.
  
  One option would be to use the image file (all variants) naming options to include Camera Make, Model and lens information using the "Text and Tokens" options during file renaming or at the point of import. I use this sometimes for convenience if a particular project would benefit from such an approach.
  
  There are other options if that does not appeal to you.
  
  If you float the metadata tool and compact the sections you do not want to see the useful parts of the EXIF data are quite close together. You can leave the minimised tool on screen open or minimised and just open it when required.
  
  A slightly less direct but possibly useful option is to consider the filters tool display as useful information.
  
  You can choose the filter information fields that you wish to use and have those displayed in the filter tool. If all of the images currently selected are from a single camera only that camera will be displayed. If from more than one than all cameras found in the selection in the browser will be listed. It's not very precise information of course if you have a collection of images from multiple cameras and lenses but in many cases it might be enough to confirm what you are looking at. As a function it may also offer other utility for your work flow, hence my suggestion, unlikely as it may seem.
  
  There may be other options - but it they are I cannot recall them at the moment.

  This, in combination with other tool layout options, would allow for a perfectly custom workspace to compliment your particular editing workflow.

  Thanks for the contribution, but none of the solutions suit me well.
  
  Renaming is not an option at all - I always use the same logic with YYMMDD_hhmmss_0000.
  
  When I compare photos and switch a lot between them, I always like to see the camera/lens/time/aperture/filename
  
  When you work with a 13-15" notebook it is not handy to work with a floating metadata tool or always click on the info tab. I really appreciate the lightroom version with pressing i and having these customizable infos on your screen. Press again i it disappears.
  
  Ok there are always trade offs to make when switching to another piece of software.
  
  I will have a further look into that and see how I can integrate the metadata tool in my customized tabs.
