White balance and user guide
Hello,
I am starting on matters concerning post-processing photography. My camera is a Panasonic FZ18.
I converted the DNG RAWs in order to treat them in Capture One 4
I need your opinion on the following points
Because The FZ18 is not recognized should I select ICC profile Adobe Neutral? :
Regarding the white balance to be able to calibrate I bought a charter gray brand NOVOFLEX (I saw too late in a tutorial on your website that you specify another charter grey 50%)
My charter is double-sided a grey face and a white face but I do not know if it's a charter at 50% or 18%.
Have I made the right choice?
I tried to use it, I am not very sure of the outcome and I wonder if it is indeed useful?
Is there a user guide in English or french more comprehensive Capture One Capture 4 or 3 one?
I love the ergonomics of Capture One 4 forward, and I would like to draw the best results 😄
I am sorry for my English : 😕

Yes, that is a good starting point.[quote="LeDouze" wrote:

Yes, I think that it is more important it is neutal gray than whether it is 18 or 50%.[quote="LeDouze" wrote:

Besides the English manual from within the program's Help menu, I am not aware of a more comprehensive one (a comprehensive Dutch manual will be available shortly, but that does not help you).0
