shooting tethered in trial version

I was interested in the canon 5d mark 2 , so have rented it found out i needed to upgraged to new c1 version, was running C1 3.7 on mac OS 4.8 so also had to upgrade to MAC OS 5.8. downloaded the trial version unistalled old version. now in the new capture one 4.8 it wont recognize the the camera when its tethered?... i cant even reinstall old version now!
am i doing something wrong, the download wont even work as a capture one PRO trail version...is it possible to shoot tethered in Capture one trial version if so is there any setting i have overlooked.
any help advise greatly appreciated

  You have to run Pro in order to shoot tethered and you can indeed run the trial as pro. If you go to the Capture One menu -> License... There is a drop down box next to the "try" radio button. There you can choose Capture One Pro instead of Capture One.
