OS 10.7.5/ 10.8 - P+ Backs

I know there are Canon issues with C1 6.x on the new Apple OS's, I've read those threads. I just booked an upcoming job with the photag using a P+ back. do the same issue apply on the new Apple OS's with phase backs (or is that just limited to Canon)? Are there any potential issues I should know about with the using the newer OS's with phase backs?
