Another Request for an iPad version of Capture One
LoggedAs someone who made the switch to all Apple ecosystem recently after working on Windows since the early 90's, I'm dumbfounded as to why some version of Capture One isn't already on iOS. A version of C1 Lite app I would happily pay $ for if I could sync my mobile device sessions from the iPad to the cloud (iCloud, DropBox, etc) and then bring that into my full C1 app on my desktop. The horror stories I keep hearing of corrupted LR Catalog files is what finally pushed me to use Capture One (I used Capture 7 Express until I couldn't get more current RAW files from my cameras to be recognized), but as some else has said, Capture One seems to be stuck in the past and we as mobile content creators need to be able to work with the latest tech (I mean seriously!? How long has the iPad been around!?)
As a documentary photographer, I tend to travel a fair amount for my work and need the ability to work efficiently - the iPad/iPad Pro provides a tactile experience that a laptop or desktop doesn't provide. Watching videos of other photographers editing in Lightroom mobile on their iPads using their Apple Pencils leaves me wanting for the same experience with Capture One. I paid good money for the full version since I shoot Olympus camera and all I really need is some sort of a "C1 Lite" iOS version that will allow Sessions to be created and have those various sessions then be imported into the full version of Capture One on my M1 based Mac mini...
I know the moderator has said "We have several requests about Capture One version for iPad indeed, so it is being under consideration." That's an ambiguous statement - much the same as what politicians give.
TBH, if I could ask for a refund on my recent purchase of C1, I'd request it - I love it on the desktop, but the lack of mobile integration has me begrudgingly considering the revisiting of Adobe's mobile options...
Please prove me wrong about C1

Hi Cliff,
We continually strive to make Capture One accessible on the newest hardware and operating systems, and we are currently working with Apple to secure the best performance and compatibility for the new ARM-based Mac computers.
We are currently working with Apple to secure the best performance and compatibility for the new ARM-based Mac computers. Native ARM support will be released in an update to Capture One 21 in the second half of May 2021. However, this does not include an iPad release.
In the meantime, Capture One will run on ARM-based Mac computers using Apple’s Rosetta 2 emulation platform. Although with some limitations. This issue will be addressed in future upcoming releases, but so far this setup is not supported by Capture One and should be run by users at their own risk.
