Some DNGs importing as black?

Hello all.   I'm importing some of my older Lightroom catalogs into CaptureOne sessions and in a recent import, a large portion of them imported black.   I verified the files pass validation in LR and everything's fine - they're all losslessly compressed.   Preview on the Mac can also render them correctly.  These are Nikon D300 images from 2009.  I attempted to regenerated the previews as well...no change.

Any ideas?

    I think I've figured it out.  The exposure on these photos are all 0.0!   Must be a LR import issue.
