How do I delete a plugin, when I do it in preferences, it says I do not have permission.

I am trying to delete a plugin from Capture One,  Photomatix Pro 6.2, but when it the minus sign to delete, it will not let me as it says I do not have permission to do so.  I deleted the program on my computer earlier so maybe that has something to do with it.  I just want it out. Is there a way of physically moving it out?

  Go to your /Library/Application Support/Capture One/Plug-ins folder and delete the plug-in.
