How do you show a photo inside an album or project?
Hello,
How do you show a photo inside the enclosing album / project / group? I have a group of photos that have been imported into my Catalog that I can't locate. This catalog is over 100,000 images, divided into hundreds of albums. I have located the images by searching for them by name in "All Images," but have no idea what album they are located in. Is there a way for Capture One to show me this?

Here is a link to a 7 year old thread on the subject: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360009393077-How-to-find-which-albums-reference-an-image The general answer back then was "no", the current state may be different.
A first suggested workaround involves visiting each album, selecting all images and add an album specific keyword (album name) to selected images. Then keywords in any image should reveal all album names the image is assigned to. Read the post and make sure you understand it.
A second suggested workaround involves getting your database hands dirty and query the catalog database directly, without involving Capture One. Fully possible and probably what I would do myself. If you are not up to that, forum user Eric Nepean posted an Apple script: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360012259197-AppleScript-to-Find-the-Albums-Containing-an-Image
