Dale, tried the delete and clean install with no luck, I'm sure it's just a canon SDK issue that needs tweaking.

same problem here, I have a IMac i7, tethered through a powered usb port connected to my imac and it worked, has to be a mac usb port issue, it must not get enough power

Exact same problem here. My 1ds mrkIII and 5d mrkIII will not reconnect if I turn the camera off then back on again, I have to shut down C1, turn the camera on BEFORE i restart C1 for it to recogn...

Thanks Rick, but 6.5 ft just won't do it, and don't know if C1 will recognize
