Installation Problem

I am trying to re-install Capture One V.23 on Windows 10 following a  problem with plugins.  I have a perpetual licence with 3 activations remaining. The installation .exe file was downloaded directly from the Capture One site.  The installation failed.  I then uninstalled Capture One, and re-ran the .exe file. It appeares to be be running but when it reaches the extraction and installtion the screen goes blank and will not proceed further. Suggestions please.
