16.2.0 Floating Panel Goes Behind Window When Clicking Away - Not "always on top"
I have two monitors.
One is my browser. One is a full screen viewer.
On the viewer screen I have a floating panel with my most used panels.
I've had this for years and years and years.
Now, when I click away from C1 and then click back the floating panel disappears, or it goes behind the viewer window.
This is bizarre behaviour. It has always been and should be in an "always on top" state. The viewer should never go in front of the panel.
Is this a new fun bug? Or is there a setting for this to make the floating panel "always on top"?
It's really messing with my workflow today clicking back and forth between Photoshop.
Thanks for any help on this!
*update: downgraded to 16.1.3 and it's back to normal. You guys get so creative with your bugs! Please fix this.

I just received a reply from support saying they can't reproduce the problem.
Downgrading to 16.1.3 fixed it for me and I'm not upgrading again until I know this is fixed. I have too much work to do to chase capture one bugs around.
Can you guys let me know if the problem is in 16.2.1? or if you are using 16.2?

Happening in both 16.2 and when I upgraded to 16.2.1. Clearly since several people have had this problem, the folks at C1 need to work harder at reproducing it for themselves.

Please create a bug report for it so the devs have your issue documented. They were asking me for a screen recording to show them it happening but I'm back at 16.1.3. If you still have a version with the bug it would be great for them to have a video in the bug report.
Need to create the bug report anyway so it's not just me which looks like an isolated issue :-)

I just recorded a video of the behavior. I would like to make it available to support, but I need an email address from a staff member...

I just realised I upgraded my macbook tethering machine and now my tethered sessions are incompatible because I am waiting for this bug to be fixed. I need to know if they fixed this yet or if I need to downgrade my macbook until they fix it.
Support hasn't replied to me in 5 days.
Has this been fixed in the newer versions for anyone? It's a bit of a mess now with this session...

Nope. Still have the problem with the latest firmware. I wrote to support about this problem too (plus another problem -- I can use Smart Adjustments any more. They are trying to help with the latter but haven't said anything yet about the hidden windows.

How do they expect this forced monthly subscription service to work in the future where we are paying monthly but then they drag bugs like this on for months and we can't use the latest version?
