how do i set ip capture one to open where i left off
Know i am missing something easy. when i quit capture one and then reopen - I open at an old image i edited not the last image i edited? Looked in preferences and did not see anything - save catalog on exit

It should go back to where you left off last time without you doing anything.
Are you using a catalog or a session, and when you shut the program down do you close the catalog or session before you close the program, or do you just close it? (I am not sure which is best to do for Windows - that works a little differently on a Mac.)

I deleted and recreated my user.config file yesterday and initially it seemed to resolve the issue, however..... today the problem is back again. I'm still testing but not hopeful this approach will resolve this annoying problem.

Hi, yes in the appdata folder under Capture_One.
I did have multiple subfolders for the historical versions of C1, but I put them all in my waste basket before C1 recreated a new user.config.

Neil,
Are you saying it is not going back to the last one you edited or the last one you were viewing?

Hi, I've been testing this for the last 2 days, writing down image numbers and if I editted or just viewed a specific image. On my system it mostly goes to the last image I viewed or editted, but occassionally the application will startup going back to an image further back in my history. Its really strange.
I'm still testing

Through my recent testing, I frequently get "No images selected" in the main screen upon opening C1, when I know an image was selected the last time the application was closed.
