Did I make a mistake?

Currently I'm running V20 and I just bought V23 perpetual (Windows) because of the half price offer. Browsing the forum, it looks like the older release 16.1.3 is maybe less problematic than the most recent one. Should I install it instead of 16.2.0?

Are you having problems with it? It works fine for most of us I think.

(And the latest version is 16.2.1.)

No, I've not installed it yet. I may hedge my bets and go with the older version first. FWIW the exe on the newer one I have (downloaded Wednesday) is 16.2.0.1367. Has there been a release since?

Yes, there has been a newer minor update, 16.2.1, released sometime last week. Mainly a few new cameras and some bug fixes for the Windows version.

On Windows, I'm not sure. On a Mac, you are offered the option to replace the old version with the new, or keep both, in which case MacOS will install the new version with a different name.

Yes, in Windows it replaces the previous version.

I can't remember if it's possible to keep both, or how to do that...

Update: The installer created a new folder by default for C1-23 leaving the old version intact. Maybe this is new behavior... IDK. At any rate that's how it worked for me.
