Inverting b/w & color negativs

I work in C1Pro 23.
I currently have about 5000 mixed b/w and color negatives in my feed. 
I wonder how I go about turning these so that they become positive instead ?? to then work further with them.

  Drag the sliders at the bottom of the levels tool to the opposite corners. The example, below, is from a color image, but it works the same for black and white images.

  That method works.  However, once the negs are converted, the image will need lots of adjustments.  The best method I've found is to use Negative Lab Pro ($99).  It's fast and the results are amazingly close to the original colors.  The drawback is that you need Lightroom to use NLP (It's a plugin).  I just signed in on Adobe for a couple of months.  Once I finish digitizing negatives, I no longer needed NLP/Lightroom, so I just cancelled the monthly fee.
