GHS - Generalized Hyperbolic Stretch

What problem do you see this solving?

Due to a larger project I deal with astrophotography and its problems.

Here I also use the stretching algorithms among others the GHS which I have already applied to normal photos and find it very interesting.

It is simply an algo for the curve, which does not exist as such, an extension of the curve with a tool with which the curve can be changed without setting points.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
This tool the with the GHS would be completely new, so far I use several layers to come to a comparable look and or would combine it with my proven methods.

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
I could use the free software Siril to get this tool.

Testing, now just focused on the sky, imagine what you could do with it with a better masking or AI masking tool.
