Hello and apologies for the late reply! Saving both to card and iPad/iPhone depends on the camera model. I believe that it's available for your Nikon z6: Once you connect your camera to the iPhone, open the camera settings from within the app. There you should find an "Recording Media" option underneath the "Camera Information" section (I am repeating it again for anyone else reading this post: this is specific to Nikon). You can set "Recording Media" to Card and SDRAM. Please note: the settings are not persisted (we are working on this) so you have to reset it once you reconnect the camera. Hope it helps.

May I ask what is the use case of this?

Hey BeO, there are photographers whose workflow is SD card related, so instead of exporting or cloud transferring their photos via the app, they prefer to use the SD card directly to back up, archive or continue on desktop. These photographers usually tether either to verify that they got the shot while on location, facilitate feedback from their team or customers or do some light editing and deliver through our app and when they get back they import everything from card to computer and start post production from scratch.

    Thank you Evi K.

Interesting workflow. Will the edits be baked into the jpg files or are there additional C1 propriatary files written to the card (similar to session .cos files)?

Edits on raw files included then, or only jpg files.

No prob BeO. The edits are not included in the camera's SD card, so in this case, photographers start editing from scratch when they choose to import from SD Card. It would be great if anyone else reading this that has a similar workflow explained why and how they are using it!

Thanks Evi, then I misunderstood. Based on the request from Firstname "save my photos back to the camera " I thought it is possible to do some edits or rating and save them from the mobile device back to the card after the edit.

But actually it is only possible to save to card and the tethered recipient device in parallel, i.e. the mobile device in this case, and then edit and store the edits on the mobile device. Unless I again misunderstood. :-)
