annotations on overlay or grid
What problem do you see this solving?
I need to mark up the screen to show where elements of a comped image are and edit it as I progress - My images may have 50 elements
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
I do this every day -
drawing on the screen is always visableAre you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
I presently draw with a chinagraph on a sheet of acrylic taped over the screen - I know that I can layer things up in photoshop but its not instant and that I can copy annotations between layers but thats a complicated process - drawing on acrylic is instant and can be erased with a cloth -I think the obvious place for this is within the overlay tool
This is so we have a greater understanding of how your workflow is affected, and how we can improve the existing tools and functionality.
Are you happy to be contacted further about this suggestion or request? yes
Let us know with a simple “Yes” or “No” – we will contact you with the email address used in your Capture One profile.

Hey robin brigham, maybe I missed something, but we already have a tool for creating annotations. Could you explain what exactly you want to achieve that cannot be done with the existing annotation tool?

hi Denis
annotations are locked to a specific image
what i need is a global annotation page that
can float over the capture window - it would probably fit best in the Guides tool0
