Hello, I registered as a developer. After logging in, there are no developer resources, including API documentation, SDK, sample code, etc.

Now is not just the interface of the program that is confusing, but you managed to make your website and your pricing options imposible to understand! Why not keep the perpetual license as before. Lightroom seems the way to go now.

I've tried various methods, including checking for orders by clicking through emails, but I can't find any record of my orders. However, my bank card did indeed receive a request for a freeze on funds.

So discouraged with Capture. Purchased Capture One Pro a couple of years ago. Now my Mac cannot be updated, Capture want $285.00 CDN (with 40% discount) to update my LIFETIME Capture One Pro so I may use on my NEW soon to be Mac. well, I refuse to be held HOSTAGE by Capture. That is an Adobe trick and I will not go there. Sorry, so long. Been fun. Bye, bye.

The deal with the perpetual licence is that the version you buy as a one-off purchase is yours to use for ever as long as you have a computer that can run it, but you don't get updates. That's one of the factors you have to balance against the continuing cost of a subscription that always gives you the latest version (though, again, with the proviso "as long as you have a computer that can run it").

By the way, I don't in any way speak for the company - I am a moderator as a volunteer. But it seems to me that there are always extra costs that will come with new kit, whether it's a newer Mac that has a version of MacOS that your current software can't handle, or a new camera that isn't supported by your current version of the software. I don't know what your new Mac will cost you, but I suspect that $285 CDN is fairly small in comparison.

And if you don't choose to go for that, you have to consider what software you will use instead, what it will cost you, and whether you will be as satisfied with the results you get from using it.

All your choice, of course. But as photographers, we do engage in a rather expensive occupation!

Ian is right. When we upgrade anything there are often downstream costs associated with it. It is unreasonable to expect a commercial software company to keep updating older versions of their software to support all future versions of operating systems. It balloons the cost of the software.

Sorry to go, but the computer was a necessary item, Capture is NOT. As was Adobe.

Dear ladies and gentlemen of Capture one, unfortunately my license has expired and I would like to continue with the same license. My problem is that I have an old operating system on my Studiolabtop and only the 12A runs on it. I now have Capture one 12 running but it does not recognize my Nikon cameras D850 and D600. Please help me or end my session.
