Zoom values not appearing
Hello, sorry if this is a simple issue but I have not been able to find an answer. A google search showed a topic that seemed to be relevant on this forum but when I clicked on it (despite being logged in) it said I was not permitted to view it (!?)
Anyway, my problem is this. I used to be able to zoom in and out using the mouse wheel, and the slider at the top right would move, and show me what percentage zoom I was at. Now, (16.3.1.1718) the image zooms, but the slider does not move, and the zoom percentage is not shown. Clicking on the slider has no effect. How can I restore the previous functionality?
Many thanks.

Troz Could you provide a link to the dead page you were trying to access? I'll see if I can bring it back online.
The behavior works as expected for me on the same version as you. macOS 14.
Based on the build number you must be on Windows, so I'll see if someone here can test it.

I think this could actually be related to the size of the window or DPI scaling. Does the behavior change when the window size changes?

Hello, thanks for the response. The dead link is here:

It seems to be an intermittent problem. When it appears, exiting and restarting Capture One may fix it.

Update: I believe I have found what is causing this.
I have a two-monitor setup (Windows). The main monitor is 4K (3840x2160). The secondary monitor is HD (1920x1080). When I start Capture One, it opens in the main screen, with some floating tools in the secondary.
If I start Capture One from the secondary (HD) screen, either by opening a catalog or session from an Explorer window open on that screen, or by clicking on the Capture One icon in the taskbar on that screen, the zoom slider is broken.
If I start Capture One from the main (4K) screen, by either of the two methods above, the zoom slider works.
I guess my setup is not that common, but it still feels like a bug - submitted.

Troz We've been able to reproduce the behavior. Certainly does seem like a bug :( thanks for reporting it to us, I hope it's an easy fix that we can push out in a service release.

For the benefit of anyone else who encounters this bug - Capture One advise that they have been able to reproduce it, but have chosen not to do anything about fixing it unless other people complain.

Updating this thread to say that it appears to have been fixed. (16.3.5.1929)
