Ability to change the color of star rating

I've found the contrast between the interface and the stars for rating on Capture One to be lacking. The monochrome interface is nice for some things but in this area it needs a little pop. Especially if for portrait pictures, on the thumbnails I'm almost unable to see which ones have a rating and which don't. I am aware you can color tag the pictures but not by using the 1-5 shortcuts like for the star rating. So it would be nice if the star ratings could have colors to them as well.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
I found a workaround for MAC but I'm not on a Mac. There should be a TIFF file for the Star but I can't find it on my PC version.

  The difference is in a setting on the View menu.

  

  Edit mode puts them below the thumbnails, and Status mode puts them inside the thumbnails. (I don't know what the point of Status mode is to be honest.)
