Removing ‘help box’ from individual tools

Hi, almost every time I click on a tool I’m getting a drop box with instructions (and pointing me to a tutorial etc). Just wondering how I can stop this box appearing every time! Thanks

  Are you talking about tooltips like this:
  

  They can be disabled in the Preferences (menu Edit): General - Tooltips - Extended Tooltips.
