release and cut out

I miss in Capture One this opportunity:

I want release and cut out a part of a photo to insert this part in a other photo or in Adobe Indesign. Only for this I am forced to use Adobe Photoshop..

But Capture One is the best. I like it very very much.

  This will certainly not (never?) be the case, because C1 is a RAW file editor and not a pixel-based graphics program like Photoshop, Affinity Photo or GIMP.

  Someone with time and willingness could automate a great deal of this if you needed for example Background AI mask that made it black or white etc, and wanted to process output files and send them to PS as layers. That is a LOT of work and would require paying someone a considerable amount of money to implement. Thousands of $ or £ or € at least.

  I have seen a POC of an app that sends the processed image file to remove.bg web app and then returns the cut out image. Maybe email Jim over at shoot machine .co

  Thank you all. Now I know, that I also need Photoshop for a workflow like this.

  Thank you Rick. I contacted Jim. He had also no solution for this  in Capture One. He thought., that this could only done in Photoshop.
