Restore a variant

I accidentally removed the wrong variant while editing a series of files. Is there any way to recover a removed variant? I checked in the trash but it seems to contain only deleted files and not removed variants. I'm on C1 16.3.8.

  You can undo if you have not stopped and restarted the app, but it will undo in the exact reverse order so any adjustments and other changes made after removing the variant will have to be undone first.

  Thank you. Unfortunately I'd done a lot of editing by the time I discovered what had happened. I'll have to re-create the deleted variant from scratch.
