Slow histogram

Is it just me or has the histogram loading time become slower over the past couple of years? I used to be able to correct shadows and highlights fast earlier but it seems like the loading time for the histogram has become a lot slower.   I am not sure what I am seeing in your video. Are you adjusting shadows and highlights? I don't see any movement in the shadow and highlight sliders. 

  I can see you are on MacOS, but what version of MacOS, what version of Capture One, where is your session located (internal drive, external drive, etc) and what is the spec of your Mac?

  Hi Ian!

  The image in the video only has a contrast adjustment, I believe. I'm scrolling between two images. My point was that it takes the histogram a while to load. Like half a second.
  Since my first post I realized that it's a file size issue. I've been working on smaller raw files and they load faster. So I guess it's a processor issue.

  I'm working on a MacStudio M1 64GB memory
  Sequoia 15.1.1
  Capture One 16.5.1.14
  The files are on a internal drive.

  I guess it's time for M4 maybe.
