An open letter of thanks to the Phase One Crew

Folks at Phase One: I missed one of David Grover's webinars on August 25th, my family laid my father to rest that morning. A sad start to a post, for sure. The day's over, and a lot got done. But I wanted to share with you something: I've been processing my images solely with Capture One for almost a year now. My entire family traveled in for the services. I had a gallery running in the background of over 150 images of dad; processed on and using the slide show of C1-9. Many people remarked at the quality of the images of dad that ran during the calling hours.
Probably not it's primary mission, but your software was very competent at processing old and deteriorated photos that I scanned in and cleaned up.
There were other issues to worry about today - the passing of a family member, the wellbeing of those left behind, and certainly the emotions that my daughter had of losing a grandfather. My gallery wasn't the center stage. But as I finished up, I felt that it was worth noting to you that I took a certain amount of pride in memorializing my father with the tools I had available to me. And the amount of attention that it drew was something that I wanted to pass along.
