Selective colour adjustment?

Hi, I am using mac / capture one 8.2 - Just shot 40 items (hats) on a model. Models skin tone is fine but there is a slight cold hue to the background paper. I understand that I can make a quick adjustment using the color editor by knocking the slight blue cast off by dropping the saturation. My issue is that some of these hats are blue / or contain some blue embellishment. Is there a way of dealing with this in a quick correction or will I need to draw a layer & adjust manually?

  In color editor, advanced: try to make the color sample of the background smaller so that it does affect the background but does not affect the hats.
