I played around with settings in Capture One and came to this solution:

I had to set 'ICC Profile' to 'sRGB IEC61966-2.1' and 'Lens' (in lens correction tab) to 'Generic'.
Now the picture in the Viewer and the exported image have identical colors.

Have a look at the Recipes in the Process tool feature.

Each recipe can be set up for different output requirements if you have different requirements.

There is no reason why a converted RAW file should have to appear to be the same as a processed JPG - unless you want to make it the same.

Also check what you have set for the "Proof Profile". It may not be significant for what you have been seeing but it is part of the visual result and so needs to be considered for a complete understanding of the subject.

    HTH.

Hi, welcome to the forum and the world of Capture One 8 (CO8).

It seems you are comparing the output of different raw converters in a program that is not properly color managed, or not color managed at all. Because the default output profile of CO8 is AdobeRGB, it my look pale or washed out in an application that does not take that larger color space into account.

That is not a problem or something bad on your side, just a remark. It is good to compare with the same color profile of all output of different programs.

Hope you like CO8 and let us know whether you have more questions.
