Sorry about delay in replying, how do you do it as I cannot find the option anywhere in C1, I can swap the screens around but what I want to do is put the browser on the screen with the minimum menu setup which normally only has one image or multiple selected images, maybe I am not looking at it properly, thanks for answering anyway.

Menu Item "Window/Workspace/Dual Monitor - Large Viewer"
You may have to juggle the tools and viewer around if the default does not suit you. I have all the tools on my right hand screen and the viewer straight in front of me on my main screen.

Ok, I have the setup you are talking about except my tools are on the left and main screen on the right, what I have been trying to do is on the main screen replace the viewer with the browser so I would have the minimum of tools on that screen but now I have stopped trying, it was just something I wanted to do for a specific task, I have moved on since then so thank you to all those who have replied

Just for anyone who happens on this thread, you just drag the tools window to the other screen and ditto with the Viewer window, once you have got them where you want they will pop up in that position next time you open Capture One. They are just like any other Windows window - they can be resized and moved around.

Yes, but the issue is not positioning of the tools window and the viewer window on either monitor. The issue is that there does not seem to be a way of having the main monitor displaying both the tools and one large image (the image being edited) and the secondary monitor displaying only the browser.

As it is now the viewer displays one large image but no tools and the browser screen has the tools which is a backwards setup for editing.

Perhaps I am missing something and there is another way to go about this?

Hi cdc You have nailed it, that is exactly what I wanted to do but have been unable to discover how, the reason behind my wanting to do this was to have all the tools in the same monitor as the main image that I am working on and leave the minimum on the screen with the browser, I have actually positioned the tools tabs on the right edge of my main monitor, it works but you are still left with the browser either on the left or below.

In Capture 10 a number of the tools can be un-docked and dragged into the browser Window.

Yes this is true and makes things a little better but this is more of a bandaid to the issue than it is a cure.

I've seen the tool bar on the viewer screen when working with version 8. They must have removed the feature for some reason?
