Manual sort orderr lost when importing catalog
If a catalog with an album or albums containing images in a manually sorted order is imported into an existing catalog, the sort order of images in the imported album(s) default to name order (in the browser). Selecting manual order in the newly imported album does not restore the original manual sort order. Rather the images are then shuffled into a random order (in the browser).
Is there a way to preserve the manual sort order of images in an imported catalog’s albums?
Why when importing images from a camera card into a new empty album in a catalog does selecting manual sort result in the same sort of shuffling of the order?
Before version 12, if images were imported into an album with manually sorted images, the copied images' order was appended at the end, but in random order. Now they are appended in name order.

Not that I am aware of.NN635680879799322049UL wrote:

Hard for us fellow users to figure out the why of something that is apparently hardcoded in the software.0
