features available vs camera bodies

We recently have had a 50d die and are going to get another canon for macro studio use with phase one.
Are there any obvious big features unavailable with any specific canon bodies? Or to put it another way, "Are there any features we were missing out on by using a 50d?" In case it matters we also have a Helicon.
