Live View with Canon EOS R
Hi All
I use live view with my 5DmkIV all the time with no issues. But I am unable to get live view to work with the mirrorless EOS R. I just upgraded to C1 20 thinking perhaps they fixed this in the new version.
The message I get when I attempt to use live view is:
(101#2) General Error: The data type is incorrect or not supported
Live view is crucial for me and there are a lot of advantages to EOS R so would much prefer to use it for my studio shooting. Appreciate any assistance from anyone else with info. Thanks!

Live View with the R is definitely supported - from v.12:

Random idea Andy.
Have you got a memory card in the camera when connecting?
If so you could try removing it to see if anything changes.
