Color picking/matching
Is there a way to select a color in one photo and match it to a similar color from another photo? Something like using the color picker in Photoshop. I'm trying to match garment colors shot on different cameras. I can't copy and paste reliably because one file is a PSD and the other is a camera RAW file. The tools aren't equal from one to the other so I'm looking for a solution purely in the color tools range.

Have you looked at the Normalize tool?

Is that possible when the files are different types? One being a PSD for example?
I suppose I could try it but I don't really have any suitable immediately available images to experiment with.

I don't know, but worth trying?

It is possible to use the Normalize tool between a RAW file and a PSD. The results seems to vary though as far as the end results go and you will need to mask everything that is not the garment. It is shifting white balance values to correct for the color difference so that doesn't always work out, and it effects the rest of the picture.
I think a better option would be to use the Advanced Color Editor tool and manually make the adjustment. You can then make a masked layer based of the selection if needed, and can also create an ICC so you can apply the corrections to the other camera, if that works for your situation.
In my experience some garments are quite straight forward to match with a quick color editor adjustment, other garments are more tricky and require the color editor along with white balance, color balance, etc.0
